Hi Gessica,
I think we did a good job with using the User Experience process. We conducted a Usability Study with over 60 participants to go through specific task with our website. However, I think we're still going to have to do more work to make the experience more personal.....aka. "PERSONALIZATION". Check out our site and let me know what you think.
Well, I have only tried th Use Scenario: "Find physicians for diabetes and print it.". I was suprised that the printout looks very well. Many websites does not have such useful printouts.
But:
1. List box "Main Specialty" has some entries on the top which seems to be not in order (alphabeticly).
2. I did not found any Diabetes entry.
3. Search with Wildcards * does not work. E.g. "Rob*" does not found Ellen W Roback
4. Many useless tooltips
5. ...
Ok, sorry, I have to stop. This all sounds very negativ (I am a German ;o). But: I was realy impressed to get a fast and good printout. That is what many users need if he searchs for a physician.
Please share the approach or case study if its possible. Its a really very good example of employing usability/UX in design. However I feel visual noise or elements are cluttered (Just a hypothetical comments, this design has been achieved after a proper study).
Indeed a wonderful example!!
Thank you for participating in our conversation! I love this web site because it brings all of us together and I see how passionate we are as UX designers.
