Regarding the Usability Analysis Certification, it looks like everything is targeted at web site design and commercial sales. I work in the area of engineering console / GUI design and human interface issues. I'm dealing with "Operators" setting in front of very complex operational GUI's. Do these courses focus on approaches to interface control, integration design and testing that would apply to engineering applications?
The examples used in the Web & Application Design class are web content based but people designing software applications can get a lot out of it. The other classes are directly applicable to GUI design.
