I just wanted to comment about Banks. Surprisingly there are some significant fan pages for bank services. Visa 180,000 followers, Citibank similar. They tend focus on consumer services that people do like to chat about. I notice Citibank has a Facbook page for jobs - just shows that things that were traditionally handled on a website are moving out into social.
I guess the common theme is that they are consumer services and people do get social around consumer services.
